John Thain will take a job at Bank of America once the merger with Merrill Lynch is complete. He'll head corporate and investment banking as well as wealth management. Does that mean he's in line to acend to 61 year old Ken Lewis' throne? Not necessarily. Bank spokesman James Mahoney said: ``There's been no commitment around that.'' Thain ``is joining the team as a senior leader.'
