Bernie Madoff can't seem to dodge photographers, even at home during his nightly curfew. NY Social Diary has the above photo that they say is Bernie in his penthouse, watching TV circa 9pm last night. Wonder if he knows his penthouse fishbowl is on display. At least he's dressed. Although it would be funnier if he were caught au natural, feet propped up, wearing nothing save his ankle bracelet monitor -- and that now famous hated smirk.
Actually, it would be even more entertaining if someone would aim a live webcam at his place - a "MadoffCam". Is that his kitchen in the next room? Is he a snacker? Does he cook (other than the books)? And where's his wife Ruth? A MadoffCam would give us insight. Enquiring minds wanna know.
Apparently, according to the NY Social Diary's interesting piece (that suggests that he might be a sociopath), Madoff is being given no slack in his quest to try to evade the growing crowd of haters / press outside. The William Wayne shop in his building has its own access to the elevators and Bernie asked if he could use it so that he could avoid the paparazzi. Request denied. We suspect that many more doors will be slammed in his face from now on.
